This angle of the living room shows this Indian writing table, again according to the person whom I got it from it's an old piece... it was actually a door, it was a gift to this person from the dealer... he kept it with him for quite a long time before finally decided to sell it off... this is one of my favorite pieces... frankly speaking I love all the pieces I currently have as each piece has it's own story...
The paintaings are Balinese... the one above the writing table depicting three women sitting together, probably in a garden... the other one above the sofa is also of three women, Balinese women with traditional head gear going to some ritual ceremony, which actually is a common scene in Bali...
The carpet is hand made and is Persian... this particular piece is red... I have a few collection all of which is all handmade and mostly Persian and Afghan...
The glass top coffee table has a metal base... the reason why I chose a glass top coffee table is because it's unobstructive... we get the view the carpet...
Currently (they keep changing) one of the coffee table display is a blue and white ceramic bowl filled with again blue and white ceramic balls... some of which were gifts, Saadiya in case you are reading this blog, one of the balls was from you, if you noticed the image of the napkin rings... the blue and white ceranic napkin rings came from you as well... here's thanking you...
