The porch...

We try to utilize every part of the house... the porch is of no exception, we chill out a lot out here, either with friends or family members, we have our meals out there sometimes, my smoking friends chill out there when they to come for visits... the best time of the day for sitting out there is very early in the morning, late noon and in the evenings...

The cane dining set was made to order, I try to add some green into the area by placing some plants like palms etc... the carved wood panel came from a Balinese friend's shop, the business was bought over by someone since...

The door was made to order too, it's Indonesian teakwood... two Balinese frogs sit on both sides of the door... two Thai terracotta pots used as candle holders graced the porch... we have the candles lit at nite... very pretty...

The chest drawer is used for shoe storage, three Vietnam ceramic pots are sitting on it as display...

I love sitting out here watching the world go by, my cuppa at hand...
