Our sanctuary...

This is our sanctuary, the house give and take is about 14 years old, it measures roughly about 3,000 plus sq ft, when we first moved in we were the only inhabitant in that block, now there are houses mushrooming, as a matter of fact the stretch of land right opposite which lay vacant until now will be occupied soon, there's construction work going on currently. It's sad actually, we won't have as much privacy...

I love the rain trees lining the lane, it's very shady. Thanks to our Filipino Lett for she was the one who had them planted some eight years ago...

There are three bedrooms upstairs, three bathrooms altogether, the living room, dining , kitchen and the maid's room are all on the ground floor... we recently added a little play area for Iman in the back... we have white tilings as flooring for easy maintenance. Down lights were installed all through the house, but we normally get pools of light from the table lamps all around...

We converted what used to be a garage into a porch, the lay out of the house is rather long and narrow, we have a small garden at one end of the house... at the other far end is the garage, we had many fun parties out at the garage and in the garden over the years and hopefully more to come...
