The entry...

The bench is Indonesian teakwood, it's reasonably old... the cushion is in vibrant shade of orange, the fabric is of Indian cotton... I chose Indian cotton for it's durability and easy maintenance, laundering is easy, dumping it in the washer... the two lamps on the side tables are some of the very few pieces we brought from the previous old house, it should be at least 15 years old or more...

A black Chinese elm wood t.v cabinet is placed against one wall, it came from a friend's shop called Chinoserie but it has closed down since... they had beautiful Chinese pieces...

At one corner sat this rattan chair, this chair belonged to another friend, he moved to Cambodia and was selling his stuff so I bought it off him, it needs fixing at the moment, the base of the arm is broken, I have yet to get it sorted out...

By the side of this rattan chair is where I had the dresser placed... this piece is very convenient as this is where we place the keys as we come in... we also use it in case we need to touch up last minute before leaving the house... what vain pots we are...
