Basket love...

My love for beautiful things include baskets. I remember going shopping for baskets as gifts to bring back home when my late mum came to visit. So my love for baskets go back a long way... I have to admit I have quite a collection, the pictures of some of which are posted here. These baskets mostly are Asian, from places like Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand. Some have been turned into base for lamps.

I even have one particular basket from nepal, they are used for tea picking which in my case I sometimes use as planters. Some of them even came with shell finishing. Actually it's up to your creativity on how you can have them utilized. I even use them for toilet rolls in the bathroom.

I recently found some colorful ones, a set of three in purple and another in green. The purple set came from Scarlett 17, my friend Zaini has a little shop in one corner of the house, he had the baskets brought in from Bali. They are simply beautiful...
